This has become a "take it or leave it" franchise over the years, with the first one trying to pay homage to source material only to distance itself from it further with each sequel. I'll be honest, this teaser is all over the place, confusing as hell but interesting all the same. I really wish we could get a true to form RE flick, but until then, I'm still enjoying the series as is.
